holiday paper rosette

Paper rosette makes pretty embellishment to holiday cards. It is simple and quick to make. Cut 12 x 1" from decorative paper; score every 1/8", and fold like an accordion. Glue the ends together. Variation: Use pinking shears to create a decorative outer edge on the rosette.

Merry Christmas Card

Materials:

Red cardstock
K&Company BW Peppermint Twist Holiday Trees, Holiday Quilt Patterned papers
Frances Meyer Bayberry Blitz

Recollections Poinsettia, Rub-ons

Double-sided and foam dot adhesive

Instructions:

1. Fold 8 1/2 x 5 1/2" of red cardstock to make a card.

2. Trim Holiday Tree patterned paper into 4 x 5 1/2 inches.

Adhere to center of card.

3. Trim Glitter patterned paper and adhere to bottom of card.

4. Adhere rosette to card with foam adhesive. Adorn with paper poinsettia.

5. Finish it off with 3D 'Merry Christmas.'

Noel Card

Materials:

White cardstock

K&Company BW Peppermint Twist Poinsettia Flourish Patterned Paper

K&Company BW Swell Noel Loose Snowflakes Patterned paper

Frances Meyer Bayberry Blitz Patterned paper

Red grosgrain ribbon

Double-sided and foam dot adhesive

Scallop-edge scissors

Instructions:

1. Fold 5 1/2 x 8 1/2" white cardstock to make a card. Decorate the edge with scallop-edge scissors.

2. Trim 5 x 2" of Poinsettia Flourish paper. Adhere to top of card.

3. Trim 5 x 2 1/4" of Loose Snowflakes paper. Adhere to card.

4. Wrap red ribbon around the card front. Tie into a knot and trim the ends on a diagonal.

5. Adhere rosette with foam dot adhesive. Adorn with paper poinsettia.

6. Apply 'Noel' rub-on to card.

Adorn rosette with button, flower, or sticker. Enjoy!
